Lake City Christian Church is an open and affirming congregation experiencing God's love by living and growing in faith, understanding, spirit and service.

We are a vibrant church with a strong emphasis on music, community, mission and education.

WORSHIP & MUSIC
Creative and meaningful with the use of drama, member participation including children, youth and lots of music (we love to sing). We have an outstanding choir and instrumentalists and use both traditional and contemporary hymns. Open communion is a central part of every service.

COMMUNITY
We are, in essence, a family church, where we nuture and support each other in our faith journeying.

MISSION
We are active in the community in a variety of ways, such as: Supporting North Helpline, hosting Tent City, volunteering at the Lake City Food Bank, and organizing and staffing an emergency cold weather shelter.

EDUCATION
On Sunday mornings you can find all generations involved in study of life and faith.

We, the members of Lake City Christian Church, are committed to discerning God's call to us as Disciples of Christ for our time. We seek to overcome the human barriers that separate us from one another and from God. Because we have experienced God's unconditional love and welcoming hospitality, we joyfully accept the call to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God, to be open and affirming of all persons, inclusive of gender, age, race, culture, ethnic background, sexual orientation, family configuration, economic circumstance or difference in abilities.
