The youth have been having fund raisers and everyone has been so generous. Remember the two day car wash, and then the pancake breakfast? A total of $790.00 was donated. The youth were collecting money to put together hygiene packs for people who use the North Helpline services. Once a month the Helpline gives out a hygiene pack with much needed items. With information from Verginia about what they should contain, the group put together 113 packs on Sunday during the Sunday School hour. The packs contained, a face cloth, shave cream, 2 razors, tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo/conditioner, deoderant, bath soap, hand cream/lotion and a comb. Many of you brought in items that we used, but the majority of the products were purchased with the money collected. Thanks to Bill Eaton, we got a great price on these items! What a joy to have the church family supporting our youth in all the outreach they are doing. North Helpline/Food Bank had run very low on the hygiene packs and the timing of our delivery was perfect. Stay tuned for the next project the busy youth of this church are planning.
