What to Expect
Who We Are
We are a Disciples of Christ congregation in North Seattle. Our church welcomes all people no matter their gender, age, race, culture, ethnic background, sexual orientation, family configuration, economic circumstance or difference in abilities.
What Our Worship Services Are Like
Sunday worship is a very relaxed, traditional service. Our spacious, modern sanctuary allows us to sit in comfortable movable chairs and we sit so we can see one another.
- share our prayers of joy and concern in worship.
- greet each other warmly in the passing of the peace.
- read scriptures and hear a message by our pastor, Rev. Dr. Sacia Vik.
- sing God’s praise!
Like all Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregations, we share communion each Sunday. All persons are welcome to receive communion.
- share our offerings.
- enjoy special music by our choir or small groups.
After worship we enjoy visiting and sharing coffee and goodies. Occasionally we have a lunch following worship. You would be most welcome as we eat together!
When Is Worship?
Sunday morning worship is at 11 am every Sunday and Adult Education begins at 9:30 am. During the summer months, there is no Adult Education class.
What Should I Wear?
Our members come dressed in clothes they feel comfortable in. If flip flops and jeans are comfortable for you, then that’s what you should wear to worship! Some members wear their “Sunday Best” and others show up wearing their cycling gear!
